BIO:
Mr Mooos is a Japanese artist born in 1978 in Fukuoka. All of his past experiences have influenced his work: past emotions, events, people and experiences dictate the colors of his works, feeling that color and memories of the past are closely related.

ARTISTIC STATEMENT:
"I make works of art using my photographs. First I modify the brightness, saturation and tones of the photo to stimulate my sensibility. The inspiration of these color stimuli creates images in my mind. I then add an illustration in the shape of a person on the finished photo. The name of this illustration is Paas. Paas is meant to draw the viewer's image of my work into the work, help-ing them to immerse themselves in my work. When the viewer immerses himself in my work, his image is added to that of the work, which was composed solely of my images.
Since the viewer's image changes each time depending on his or her mood and the influence of the surroundings, the finished form of this work will change each time you look at it. It is a work that can be appreciated over and over again.
What I describe is "the gap between reality and the image in my head." The real vision in the eyes and the image in the head do not coincide. The image changes depending on the mood of the moment and the surroundings.
By comparing several different colors, your mind will be dominated by various past events and current concerns. By repeating this sensation, it becomes easier to feel something about what you see.
I realized that the real world is made of art and I want to convey that. That is what "Synesthesia" is all about.
