I can still so clearly recall the moment I received my artistic calling. At the age of 12, after listening to my friend's passions and dreams for the future, I felt so inspired I sprinted home. The first thing I thought was that I needed to express this. Without much thinking I grabbed the only painting kit and brushes I had and started painting my closet door. My parents weren't so thrilled at this, and decided to buy me a few canvases. It didn't stop there. Soon I got my very first easel, better quality brushes and more paint. I was so immersed in expressing the feelings I couldn't put into words; I became aware I had an artistic soul within. This was my beginning.

My art pieces in my younger days weren't anything unique or complicated but the process was eupho-ria. Being a self-taught artist, I enjoyed it more than I imagined. Even now I’m still learning and dis-covering new techniques. For all my art pieces I use acrylic paint and do commissions for people on request. Since I dislike being restricted to only one type or style of painting, I opt for exploring all kinds of art styles in my work. It always makes me feel blissful whenever people asked me to do an art piece for them. It gives me purpose, hope and a sense of reassurance. In the end my goal is to bring out any kind of feeling or emotion from those who request my work.
