In "Maternidad", more abstract shapes and colors alternate on the canvas creating harmonious compositions: first of all that of a mother who in the foreground holds her baby tight to her chest, whose lines mix with those of the background giving life to images that seem to belong to distant memories that are part of the artist's memory. A woman with a hat on the left contrasts with cracks on the right of the canvas, whose lines, together, give rise to clouds on the top of the painting that seem to tell a mysterious story of which we can only grasp some fragments and images.
