Dressed in Pink

Title: Dressed in Pink
Year: 2021
Size: 150cm x 130cm
Technique: Coloured chalk ground on canvas. Wax

In the work presented ‘Dressed in Pink’, the colour of the grid, (Pink) stands out separating it from the background. The grid in the foreground seems to jump out, giving the impres-sion of depth. The organic nature of the background and the grid like foreground are also in contrast to one another. It’s about the separation of values and the transition from what is real and what is imagined. This painting fits in with the concept of the exhibition, as it shows the separation but also the possibility of co-existence through harmony.
