As a newly contemporary Lebanese painter, her art journey began during COVID19 pandemic. Working with the Red Cross, she wanted to engage in an activity that could decrease her stress and frustration. Her curiosity led her to explore again her long-left childhood pencils and paint mediums and she found herself very relieved by the creative process.
Sharing her experience with others also transmitted the therapeutic effect of colors, decreasing the sentiment of anxiety not only of herself, but within the Lebanese context, connecting with many others who enjoyed her paintings. A combination of abstract, expressionist art and realism is what drew the attention of many and the relaxing colors prevailing in the paintings were appreciated the most. As a graduate in Public Health and having volunteered and worked in humanitarian contexts, she is thrilled to explore further her passion engaging with people, finding art a key medium for community ‘s well-being.
