Stéphanie was born in 1970 in Toulouse (France) and currently lives in Hérault, near the Mediter-ranean. Since her childhood, she has often frequented museums and art books. As part of her job, she regularly practices mediation and visits to commented exhibitions for students. A lot in the analysis then! In 2020, following personal upheavals, Stéphanie embarked on the practice of painting. It was a bit of a challenge.

STATEMENT:
“The canvas is for me a testing ground, where I try to express things without the cerebral get-ting involved too much. It's an exercise in letting go, which often starts with a desire for a color. I like to give a good place to chance, to start a dialogue with it as I organize my canvas, by feel-ing. The shapes I create are often organic, like interior landscapes that come to life on the canvas.”
